This is Bill's application for the advertised positions at the newly formed Canberra College of Advanced Education in Canberra, Australia. Despite initially accepting a Graduate Assistant position, probably at a substantial reduction in salary compared with the United Nations position, he was offered the position of Accountant on 2 September, less than a month after the interview.
