Letters From New York
At Sea
26th June 1968
Dear Mum,
Our last communique – one day out from Auckland – merely to assure you all is well & we haven’t decided to remain in one of those delightful Pacific Islands. Everyone well & happy though Joan has succumbed to seasickness in somewhat rough seas we’ve met over the past couple of days.
Have met up with Sir Percy & Lady Spender who are guests on board and the kids have made a real hit. See you Monday.
Love & best wishes,
Bill
