Dear Mum,
A very short note to let you know our new address. We moved in here (Parkway Village) yesterday. It is lovely here so much nicer than New York. The children can go out & play & the International School is in the Village the shops are just over the road, so you see everything is nice and handy.
You will be pleased to know I like it here & so far no tears for home but often think of all of you & wish I could see you. I could never live over here for ever but I think I'll enjoy the two years I am here. Will write again soon Mum.
All my love,
Joan
The children are blooming, even Jenny.
